Hidemi shares a dessert! Chocolate Blancmange

I make dessert twice a week for my husband who loves sweets. I don’t like to spend lots of money on ingredients for dessert every week and TWICE! When I made this dessert, I was very proud of myself because there were only 3 ingredients which are available at any store and not expensive, and still make a delicious dessert. My husband ate it all by himself. Chocolate Goodness. I seriously want everyone to try. If you have a very sweet tooth, add 1-2 tablespoons of sugar. Also the number of serving may differ from the serving dish/bowl you use.

Chocolate Blancmange

2 oz Chocolate Bar (Dark is better)
5 tablespoons Corn Starch
1 3/4 cup Milk

Makes 2-3 (3″x 2″ Mold Pastry Ring)


1.  Chop chocolate bar.

2.  In a sauce pan, put corn starch and milk. Heat over low heat and add chopped chocolate. Simmer until chocolate is melted completely and the mixture is thickened stirring constantly.

3.  Then remove from the heat and pour into serving bowl/glass/mousse ring mold. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until set.

4.  When ready to serve, put whipped cream on top.
